Runner's Roost is excited to announce that Coming In Hot will be performing live at the Summer Send-Off 8K post-race celebration on Thursday, August 20 at Wings Flight of Hope in Orchard Park.
The Summer Send-Off 8K was created to be more than just another race. It's an evening dedicated to celebrating the final weeks of summer with great miles, great people, and now, great live music.
After completing the 8K, participants and spectators are invited to stick around for the post-race party featuring Coming In Hot, a high-energy band playing all your favorite '90s alternative rock hits. Get ready to hear music from legendary bands like Weezer, Nirvana, Green Day, Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, and more as we celebrate one last summer night together.
Whether you're racing for a personal best, running with friends, or walking your first 8K, the Summer Send-Off is designed to bring the Western New York running community together for an unforgettable evening. From the retro-inspired race shirt to the sunset atmosphere and now a live concert after the race, this event is shaping up to be one of the most exciting new additions to Buffalo's running calendar.
Even better, every registration helps make a difference. A portion of race proceeds benefits Wings Flight of Hope, supporting its mission of providing free air transportation for individuals with serious medical needs and humanitarian purposes.
